JDRF has awarded more than $1.5 billion to diabetes research, including more than $107 million last year. More than 80 percent of JDRF’s expenditures directly support research and research-related education.

KC Harvesters: As this area’s only food bank, Harvesters is a clearinghouse for the collection and distribution of food and related household products. We’ve been helping people in need since 1979.

Wounded Soldier: The mission of the US Wounded Soldier Foundation is to provide for the needs of our combat veterans deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan. It’s our way of saying, ‘Thank You’ for their dedication and loyalty tot he United States and the citizens they have pledged their lives to protect.
